Scorpion Dr. Lakeway , TX
This is a bar I constructed for my personal Hangar at my house in Lakeway. It's framed from standard materials and covered with painted MDF. Certainly a budget build, but spectacular to look at. I added appliques purchased from Amazon with gold gilding wax. The water tubes at the top I built from acrylic. The LED lighting is made with a raspberry PIE microcontroller and is customizable in color and scene. I built the pool table light from a friends propeller that was no longer serviceable. We refer to the hangar as Hangar 34
Overlook Pass, Bee Cave
There are a couple bars I designed at this location. It was a 3 year construction project overall. There is the interior bar in the barn and the outdoor kitchen just outside of the barn.

Outdoor kitchen with EVO grill, Wolf 36" built-in Grill and side burner. There is also a Sub-Zero under counter refrigerator and sink with hot water.

Speakeasy, Austin, TX
Speakeasy is a downtown 1920's inspired bar and music venue established in 1997. It resides in the historic Kreistle Building on Congress. I designed and constructed the upgraded version in 2009. It was a complete addition and renovation. I provided complete design and construction services on this one to include the main bar and bar in the back lounge.

Ten Oak, Austin, TX
Ten Oak Bourbon Bar, formally Cuba Libre, was a restaurant/bar in downtown Austin. We did complete design and construction on this project. The central bar was the focal point. The steel and acrylic light box in the center of the bar was a fun project. I designed the cutout using the branches of a tree from a photograph. I made stencils to transfer the design to the steel then cut out the relief using a plasma torch. I made the half tree trunk table from a pecan tree purchased and milled from the Berdoll Pecan farm near Bastrop Texas. The table now resides in Speakeasy.

Wimberly, TX
This is an outdoor kitchen I designed and built for a friend. The challenge was the very low slope of the ceiling and it took a lot of effort to land the top of the roof between full height windows. All the stones for the fireplace were gathered from the property.

Other Projects
Throughout the years I have been fortunate enough to have some of the best clients and was able to step into projects I had no Idea how to do or how to approach. These images are some of those that tested my abilities and I feel I learned something from every one of them. While not necessarily related to building bars, they were fun and rewarding none the less.
